OBJECTIVES:
After completing these modules, you’ll be able to:
-Analyze the Fortigate routing tables
-Route packets using policy-based and static routes for multi-route implementations and load-balancing implementations.
-Configure the SD-WAN to balance traffic load through multiple WAN links effectively.
-Check traffic transparently, redirecting it as a layer 2 switch.
-Split FortiGate into two or more devices, each one operating as an independent FortiGate device, through virtual domains VDOM.
-Build a VPN IPsec tunnel between two FortiGate devices.
-Compare policy-based VPNs to a route-based VPN IPsec.
-Implement a mesh VPN or a partially-redundant VPN.
-Diagnose failure in the internet key exchange (IKE).
-Offer Fortinet Single Sign On (FSSO) logins to the network services, integrating them to the Microsoft Active Directory services.
-Implement FortiGate devices as a high-availability cluster to ensure fault tolerance and a better performance.
-Implement an implicit or explicit proxy with its firewall, authentication and cache policies.
-Diagnose, identify and remedy common issues.

Anyone who is responsible for the daily management and implementation of a FortiGate device and/or the definition of the best infrastructure solution.
Previous knowledge of Fortinet is required, especially completion of the Fortinet Security course.
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:
If you decide to do the online course, you need a computer with:
-High-speed Internet connection
-Updated web browser
-PDF Reader to be able to read class materials online
-Speakers or earphones
-A Java Runtime Environment (JRE) or a web browser compatible with HTML 5 for the labs.
PREREQUISITES:
-Knowledge of the seven layers of the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) model
-Knowledge of firewalls in an IPv4 network
-Knowledge of Fortigate, ideally after completing the Fortigate Security course
